Yes, I have a bucket list.  A few of my top things to do before I die are:

  1. To give an inspirational speech (or ideally many) in front of a big auditorium(s).
To drive around in an ice cream truck and give out ice cream to people.
    3. To spend a day working in a small town coffee shop or cafe.

One of those…number three…is going to be fulfilled sooner than later thanks to Tina and Michelle, owners of Mischief’s Brewing coffee house in Libertyville.

On June 11 from at least 11-2 (it may be longer) I will be serving it up and dishing it out at their adorable, family-friendly cafe.  I am very excited.  I hope you’ll consider coming by!  I’ll serve you, delicious food and drink, we can chat and gab and laugh too.  (That last part is what I am really looking forward to.)  Mischief’s Brewing is located at 725 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville.

So, now the question is…do YOU have a bucket list?  I hope so.  I would highly recommend that you write down your wish list, if you haven’t already, and put it out there and into the universe that you want to fulfill those special goals.  We shouldn’t wait until nearing “the end” to squeeze in all those fun adventures and fantasies we have.

To have that near perfect balance in life we must remember the past so we can learn from it, forgive it and let it go.  We must think of the future so that we can meet milestones and goals in our lives such as things on our bucket list.  But mostly we should embrace each day fully, trying to live in the moment, mindful of our actions and reactions and share connections with people and nature.  All of that is a tough balance…accepting the past, planning the future and embracing the day…but worth the conscious effort.

Have a wonderful day!
